Customisation Services
At CompleteTV we think we’re pretty smart. We also know we’re not as smart as you are in your particular markets. Our drive comes from knowing that our technology is being used in groundbreaking applications and services. That’s where you come in.
CompleteTV customisation services have helped our customers build solutions for full DVB-T and IPTV integration, progressive download services, digital signage applications, hospitality services, subscriber service management, pre-loaded advertising as well as a wide range of user interfacing options.
CompleteTV is unique in offering a range of set top development environments for its range of Set Top Media Centers. Fusion Toolkit is a suite of development tools to enable you to create middleware and applications specifically tailored to your service.
User Interface Development
Fusion Toolkit can be used to create unique interfaces for your service. Whether you wish to deploy an HTML-based user interface solution, or a self-contained application, there is a Fusion Toolkit environment to suit. Fusion Toolkit supports WebKit and ANT Galio™ for HTML/JavaScript user interface applications and Adobe Flash Player 6 (ActionScript 2).
Java Virtual Machine
CompleteTV’s Fusion software uses a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to provide a secure and reliable interface to the underlying system hardware and software, allowing application software to be written in manner that is largely independent of the fine detail of hardware systems. The instruction-level security policy provided the JVM allow strict access rights to applications and configuration scripts, and the ability for an author to “sign” a configuration script means that only validated changes will be applied to the system.
DVB and IPTV Integration
Fusion Toolkit enables access to IPTV and digital terrestrial services - enabling applications to be built for hybrid environments.
Local and Remote Web Services
Fusion Toolkit applications can retrieve data from a remote web server, or from a local web server on board the STMC. Support for Ajax web technologies allow the development of data-driven programme guides.
